Traditional cutter dredgers are limited by ladder weight and mechanical complexity at great depths. The Jet Mining Suction Dredger excels here, achieving dredging depths of 20m to 35m+. By using a high-pressure jet to "boil" the sand bed, it maintains a stable vacuum at depths where mechanical systems struggle, ensuring a constant flow for large-scale construction sand supply.


In alluvial mining, heavy minerals like gold often settle deep within loose gravel. Our Jet Mining Suction Dredgers utilize a specialized "Jet-Venturi" effect to lift high-specific-gravity minerals without the turbulence caused by mechanical cutters. This results in a cleaner raw feed for on-board sluice boxes or centrifugal concentrators, significantly increasing the overall recovery rate.


We equip our Jet Mining Suction Dredgers with dedicated 30kW-122kW high-pressure water pumps. This secondary power system feeds a multi-nozzle jet head that "blasts" the underwater soil, turning solid ground into a flowable slurry (Fluidization) before it even reaches the suction intake.


Because there are no rotating cutter teeth or gearboxes underwater, the Jet Mining Dredger experiences significantly less mechanical fatigue. This translates to a 40% reduction in maintenance costs compared to cutter dredgers, especially when working in high-abrasion silica sand environments.
